UPDATE: We’ve changed the venue to Proof Brewing Company in Railroad Square, and instead of a more “official” presentation, we’re going to have an informal chat with Patrick Gines (Frame’s Creative Director).
The estimates are in: by 2019, video will account for 80% of all internet traffic. When it comes to communicating content on web and mobile apps, video is king. But not all video is created equal.
On September 21, Refresh Tallahassee and Frame invite you to join the discussion and learn how you can leverage video in your projects. Frame is a team of filmmakers from across the country, brought to Tallahassee because of the FSU Film School. Gifted content creators, Frame makes commercials, brand films and documentaries. Frame believes in creating national quality content while keeping the talent here, in Tallahassee. Join us to learn how you can use video to capture the attention of your audience, to connect with them, and to move them to action.

We’ve invited five designers to kick off 2016 for us by sharing the stories behind a few of their Dribbble shots. While Dribbble offers a fantastic breadth of inspiration as it is, we thought it would be interesting to mix in some depth and learn a bit more about the circumstances and inspiration that led up to a few particular shots, some finer details about the purpose of the shots themself, and what happened after the shots were originally posted.
Our special guest for the evening will be Kendrick Kidd, Senior Art Director at The Robin Shepherd Group in Jacksonville. Also presenting will be four local designers and fellow Dribbblers:Eric Thomas, Taylor Perrin, Jacob Waites, and Brannon Solomon.
I hope you can join us!

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Our speaker bailed at the last minute (as in the day of). Nevertheless, we intend to make some home-grown lemonade out of the sour circumstances and improvise a bit.
If you use WordPress and are willing to share, we will have a casual time of open mic (and open demo). If you have questions about WordPress, we will have a chance for others in the crowd to take a shot at answering them.
Sorry for the last-minute change. There is no longer a charge, and I will refund any pre-paid folks.
Thanks folks!
~ Mike
